Christian Bale’s recorded freakout at the Director of Photography on the set of Terminator:Salvation hasn’t exactly ingratiated him to many but it has become the starting point for dozens of remixes in the incident’s honour as well as a couple of TV homages all shown below.
Warning: Loads and loads of bad language.
Here’s the original:

The Mae Shi - R U Professional remix
Alan Carr did his own version on last night’s The Sunday Night Project alongside Lily Allen (7 minutes 25 seconds in).

Christian, 35, told LA’s KROQ radio station: “I have no confusion whatsoever - I was out of order, beyond belief.
“I acted like a punk. I regret that. There is nobody who has heard that tape that has been hit harder by it than me. It is inexcusable.”
Chris said he counted himself lucky to be working in the business and said: “That is why I put so much into what I do. Sometimes that enthusiasm goes awry.
“If anybody ever sees that I really am thinking I am better than anybody else, stick a fork in my backside, turn me over, and I will be done. That is not me.”
We’d probably be a bit fearful of ramming cutlery into your rear, Chris.
The actor said of the blow-off: “I got annoyed… and I made it ugly. I took it way too far, and I completely mixed up fact and fiction.”
He then urged fans to not let the furore stop them from coughing up to see the film: “Please, I am asking people, do not allow my one time lapse in judgement, my incredibly embarrassing meltdown, to overshadow this movie.
“I am embarrassed by it, and I regret it. I ask everybody to sit down and ask themselves, ‘Have they ever had a bad day and ever lost their temper and really regretted it immensely?’”
To compound his regret, Chris even bigged-up the remixes of the rant that are making their way around the net: “Feel free to make fun of me at my expense. I deserve it completely.”
